Customised products can be made to order in PE, PP, stainless steel or in a combination of these materials. We have the capacity and skills to weld PE, PP and stainless. Examples of customised products could be special manholes, with or without accessories, tanks, basins and magazines in smaller sizes, either circular or rectangular.

We are able to build in the equipment you require. Wapro works closely with leading manufacturers of pipes and regulating equipment for synchronisation when it comes to built-in plumbing or pipe systems.

Culvert Mouthpiece

Wapro has manufactured culvert mouthpieces in special dimensions for NCC Construction in Sweden AB. The product was developed specifically to prevent children and animals from entering culverts with large dimensions.

Disc backflow valve

Wapros disc backflow valve is constructed using a stainless steel grill and a polyurethane disc attached in the middle. The disc opens to allow flow in the right direction, but return flow is prevented as the disc seals against the grill. This type of valve is best used in clean water such as drinking water, or water without large particles. The valve can withstand high pressure and has very low head loss.

The valve can be manufactured in dimensions of up to 2000mm and is designed and constructed by Wapro in Karlshamn, Sweden.

Raw Water Intake

The raw water intake in Olofström in Sweden was to shallow leading to high manganese content in the warmer summer water.

Wapro developed a new intake allowing raising and lowering of the intake to eliminate the risk of high manganese levels. The intake construction was 5 x 7 x 4m with an intake pipe of Ø600.

By using a pneumatic system, driven from the pump station, the intake can be altered from between 6 meters to 12 meters deep to eliminate the risk for contaminated drinking water.

For example manholes can be produced with connections according to specification, and with inbuilt back water stops, cut-off valves, gate valves or penstocks etc.
