WaStop® Check Valve

WaStop® prevents flooding and sewage odour spreading in pipes. WaStop® check valve is built into a pipe and can be installed in the majority of pipe systems.WaStop® can be mounting in any position from horizontal to vertical. The check valve is constructed from a rubber membrane which stops reverse flow. When the flow is in the right direction the membrane opens just enough to allow the waste water through.

WaStop® can be installed at any angle from vertical to horizontal and both at an inlet or outlet. Seals and anchors for installation in a pipeline are included. Joint connections are available for purchase upon request. Click here for more information and installation alternatives.

How it works

Flow in the right direction causes a pressure build- up against the membrane to open just enough to allow the liquid to flow unhindered.

If the flow is reversed the membrane fills with water or gas and acts as a stopper, blocking all back flow.

CE Approved

Models (80-200mm) are tested and approved for up to 5 meters backpressure. Other dimensions are tested up to 3 meters backpressure.

WaStop is patented in the EU, USA and other countries.

WaStop can be manufactured using different qualities of rubber and materials appropriate for the specific usage. For example, if the check valve is to be used to stop odours, a softer rubber is used for easier opening and closing. WaStop can be manufactured according to individual requirements.
